The Red Sea Governorate has announced public auctions for the sale of over 60 residential units and commercial shops in Hurghada, plus 48 housing units in Ras Ghareb — offering investors a rare opportunity to acquire government-held real estate at competitive prices.

Auction Schedule

The auctions are scheduled across three days. On Tuesday, June 23, Hurghada properties will be auctioned including admin units, 4 residences, and 3 buildings totalling approximately 60 units near the El Dahar Services Complex. Wednesday, June 24 covers commercial shop rentals at Al-Boul Al-Tijari. Thursday, June 25 covers 3 buildings with 48 units at Khor Rahmi in Ras Ghareb.

  • Sessions start at 12:00 PM

Process and Requirements

Properties include units in Buildings 12 and 20 near the El Dahar Complex. Participants must provide insurance of EGP 100,000 per residential unit and EGP 25,000 per commercial shop. Documentation is available from the Governorate Headquarters for EGP 355. All auctions are governed by Law No. 182/2018 regarding public auctions.
